This carved and painted two tiered wall box was inspired by my thought of an 18th century craftsman with a vision of an eternal flame guarded by two infinitely old stars above expanding universes. The painted finish reflects how it could appear if it were truly 250 years old. It is a durable and functional decorative accessory that is also free standing.
